Now that I have replied to that ridiculous thread

Discussion in 'New to the H.A.M.B.? Introduce yourself here!' started by blacktopbuddha, Mar 9, 2007.

  1. Proud of my FNG label. Been lurking for a while. Hamb is sometimes the best part of the day. God, who the hell knows where traditional ends or starts? We all can agree that it aint no honda though. Just go wrench or drive yer old car. Ah, shit I've got studyin to do. I'll do a proper intro later. HAMB thanks for the mammories. Moderators thanks for keeping this monster alive. Bill

  4. Ok, now that I have calmed down after reading that "traditonal" post from last night I suppose a proper intro is due. Don't get me wrong I don't mind a good debate, but guys on here calling each other out on the definition of traditional just seems asinine. We're all here cause we enjoy these old cars and modifying them. And we like doing it with older parts and thank god no billet wheels and that kind of silly stuff.
Anyway, my current car I guess could be called a snot rod (although if falls into those custom years.) 54 mainline 4 door with a 223 6. Yea I know, but this is really my first dive into wrenching and modifying and if something goes wrong, well no great worry. Besides there seems to be plenty of these old sixes around that nobody wants, I have already been given one and a bunch of other parts too. See, this is what makes this culture so cool to me is that guys are willing to lend a hand or offer words of wisdom when the time counts. Now I can carry on in my normal fashion. I promise no more "skid mark" comments.
Oh yea, and 36-3 window, I meant the hondas with the dumb wings and fart cans out back. Cool bike.
Finally, once again thanks to the mods. for keeping this monster belching fire.
