What is the width of that wheel? They look very narrow. I am running a 40 Ford wheel.

  7. That's cool as hell! Now we need some radial pies for the fronts! :D

Rim shown is 4 1/2" wide o.e. Ford wire.
Cross section remains 8" with 8" of tread
    Fits like a glove.

What would the section width be on my 16x8's?
    Maybe 9 or 10"?

What I have found on our tires is if you mount same rim width as tread width you will gain an 1" in cross section.
Example: 8" rim , 8" tire gives you 9" cross section

I was looking at your site the other day and i cant figure out what i need. i have 41 plymouth steelies (i think there 5") that i want to run slicks on but i want them to be the same size or damn close to the same as my 6.00 -16 firestones. But i cant afford over 450.00 really. Is there a tire that will work for me in that price range? and it has to be a wide white

    Thanks.

Is it possible to do the 30x8x16 tire in a 1" whitewall? Or does the casing already have the 2" whitewall?

Really neat tire by the way! I'm glad you guys are stepping up to make them.

Wow, those look kick-@ss!! I have heard many different opinions on this, but would like your advice- are there any problems running these slicks with bias ply on the front?

Not to be a thread jacker, but i was wondering if the slicks ever come out of the mold wrong or have defects that make them useless, the reason i ask is becuase junior (from the rodbenders, we talked to you at the bash quite a bit last year) wants some for the roofrack of his 55 and hes too damn cheap to buy usable ones for full cost. anyway but yeah those new 16 inchers look great!
