First off, I know you guys are sick of the "what should I do to my car" posts, but I really need some input.

I sold my 63 4 door bel air yesterday (I got 5G's for it [IMG]) and I'm contemplating buying this 64 wagon that's been for sale here in my hometown.

It's 2500 bucks, but the quarters are plugged solid, and underneath it's a little crusty. Overall it's a good car so I think I'm gonna buy it even though I really had my heart set on a 54 Buick. I have a mint 63 bel air front clip at home, so I asked about putting a 63 front clip on it awhile back and only 50% of the hambers said yes it was a bolt on.

I was surfing the Ck Deluxe 'readers rides' and came across this:
    Skraper's 64 Biscayne

So right away I contacted him. He told me it's a straight bolt on, not even the hood latch needs to be adjusted! (I was woried about the rad support mainly) and he was very helpful.

So now I'm going to get the car next week and wanted to ask the Hambers their input on what i should do to it even though I know you guys are more pre-60 rodders. If you guys could send me pics of 63 or 64 wagons that would be great. I'm leaning more traditional, but the early lowrider look is really catchin my eye.
Supremes, pinner whites, slammed stance, bellflowers, metalflake and drag blocks are all burning images in my brain :)

This is the look i'm going for, just not the same color scheme:

    Thanks
And sorry for being a pain!

I'm not going to be able to help you with the "what should I do with it" question but I'll offer an opinion. I think that the Station Wagon is the best looking body style in the '64 Chevy lineup. I've never understood why they decided on that design IMO its weak.
Now with that said I did not realize the the '63 frontend was a bolt on. If this is a reality it would be a vast improvement in the looks of the car. My 2 cents.
