If you can live with a side-shift trans, the cads seem to be around the same price as the Packards, its the top-shift cad-lasalles that are crazy $$$.

As for the "Mustang Tails"....I was just joking, thought I'd get more of a response.....
Got to have a rear panel good enough before I start worrying about Tails....
Thanks for all your input....Appreciate your time and experstise

Just thought I would update, even though it isn't much....The Metal Wizards that are
making a Silk Purse out the Sow's Ear of a Coupe body, had a chance to work on it
a bit.....they did the passenger side first, and now have the drivers side done....
Thought I would show both sides, just to give you all a better idea of what they
are dealing with....guess I better get up off my back side and get the chassis ready,
before you know it, the body may be ready to plop back on...
THANKS to all who have made comments and input....I appreciate it...
It is slow go, must of my time is wrapped up in taking care of my 94yr old
Dad.....so I can only work on it now and then.....

  10. I would say that's pretty significant progress! Good thing you have great Metal Wizards!

Quite awhile since I added any photos, the shop has had time to do a bit
more on the body, it's actually starting to look like it is supposed to....I
admire anyone with the skills and patience to make new panels from
scratch. If you are ever just crusin the web or fbook, look up FAME
HOT RODS in Plymouth, Minnesota, they work on ALL sorts of
cars, trucks, bikes, donks, sportscars, and do a FABULOUS job
on anything they touch...THANKS FOR LOOKING

It has been quite awhile since I posted, mainly because work on
the coupe has been slow....but not to worry, it will get done when
it gets done....Put the body down on the frame, got started on the
floor bracing, test fit the seat (gotta love old Dodge Minivans,
their center seat was almost a perfect fit)...trying some different
wheel and tire sizes to get the "Stance" just right. Found out the
"Low Mileage, Should Run 331 Hemi"....is an anchor, what a surprise !!!
To think someone on Craigslist wouldn't tell you the truth..GO FIGURE !!!
But will figure something out....Thanks for listening....

look better then when we started...You can see by the photos what they had to work
    with....
