hey friends, RC asked me to post this for him, please direct your questions to him: [email protected] a map of the NCSS location: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=510+N+Avenue+G,+Clifton,+TX+76634,+USA&sa=X&oi=map&ct=title and the HT Bar & Grill here: http://www.hornytoadbar.com/
I might try to make that one....I'll be hunting for trips to make with the modified, post-roundup. Is Kountry Klassics no more?
Kountry Klassics is still around in Cranfills Gap. My dad will be a part of this shop as well. I am open now very very part time, and when I open it will be part time. I have shop projects posted @ http://groups.msn.com/rcr The movie will be on big screen at the Cliftex Theatre that was openned in 1916 and still open today. I was thinking of some old 40's and 50's movies. (Big wheel,Hot Rod,Dragstrip Girl,Choppers,Hot Rod Rumbleand Hot Rods to Hell) later RC
Hotrods, Hotdogs, and Shaun Young!! How can you go wrong? Ive got all those movies on DVD if you want to have one playin at the shop.
I won't be able to make it. I'm going to be at another show at another shop that day. I hope to make it down there sometime! Good luck with the new shop!!!
Hell if Boom Boom says i can't go wrong then i will come and check it out. Never heard Shuan Young so it ought to be a treat.
I talked to pops today and he said he is going to bring the dragster and fire it up, its an early 60's dragster with a blown chevy. later RC
I'm going to try and make it. My grandfather owned the Cliftex for a while, but I don't think I have ever actually been in it.
Is that Ken Rierson's place? We were in a club together in Waco 35 years ago. He had a nice little mid 30's Chev pickup then.
Ken is my dad, he still has the mid-state flag in his office today. I bet you have some funny storys about that time I have seen some of the pics
Wish I could make it up there Ryan, looks like it'll be fun. I'll get a hold of you and head up your way to shoot the shit soon.
Thanks Ryan, killer shop, great turnout, good tunes, and a sweet ride in the counrty. It was good spending time with the guys and your dad. Thanks for the travel suggestion back to Dallas, nice and relaxed drive back. Best of luck. See you again, soon.
