  2. Very interesting. Has the '36 look in the same way an Pilot does. Are the front and rear doors the same, as in can you use the left front on the right rear etc? Looks like it, one of those cost saving things.

  5. Well the back doors are slightly different. Look like they are from a '38 or '39 Ford coupe.

That's my motor!!! Only been on the road nearly 2 years now and boy has it seen some action!! hillclimb, 2 reliability runs, 2 drags and dirt racing track (hayride).

My other half built it (Taildraggin) and i was passenger when bambi tried to sit in between us!!!! we then had to drive back to campsite then home the next day!! We got off lightly really as a couple of other cars had headgaskets go on the way round we just had the headlight smash, and the guy behind got Venison for tea!

    Here's my other

Bad scan but at least a pic of my old Aussy 'Club Coupe' 38 and HG Monaro parked out the front of the base Mess Hall.

  29. Andromeda was built by Nick Butler in the late 70s...full of hand made parts and a blown 392......it has been credited with any where from 650 bhp to over 1000.....it was used regularly till it hit a deer and then a Vauxhall Astra, ripping off the right hand side, wheels and suspension.
It's been re-built by Edd Brown over a long period...it has had to be as most of it was hand fabbed to start with so you can't just buy the bits..from memory it had a bunch of Formula 1 parts too..not the kind of thing you can really get hold of ......"Hi can I have a magnesium hub carrier for a 1979 Mclaran?" see the problem.
It's about done now and in a rash moment He's told me not only can I ride in it but I can drive it Too......!!!!!
