Customs Non factory hubcaps, let's see them!

I'll start with this one, I have others that are just slightly different. A few with just the waffle center and a few with the Starburst. I would love to find another. 14 inch

Despite what some people think, this hubcap is not factory, but a custom application. Research has a lot of companies that sell hubcaps and accessories offer these in the same breath of the original Oldsmobile flipper hubcaps and Dodge Lancer hubcaps. These are not from any known automobile factory, other than the company assembly line that made them.

They do show up on plenty of hot rods and customs, but no one says,… hubcaps from a 1939… etc. Even some that have them have no idea who or what, as they bought the four prong, cross hubcaps from the internet and the source remains a mystery.

It looks close to a Dodge Lancer hubcap, but it is not.

 

Saw these at the annual fall poker run back in 2017, the owner had made them himself, and was rightfully very proud of them.
