at the pick n pull today. It was 1/2 off sale and shit, had to wait in line just to get a parking spot. Was looking for a rear end for the shoebox, but no luck. Found a Granada and a Falcon but wouldn't you know it, but of them were missing the rears! Just might have to put up with the stock rear for a while longer. Am I correct in thinking that the overdrive had the 4.11 gears? I "had" the 3 speed, so shouldn't the stock gears be about 3.50 or so? I know it's not 3.50 but around there, right?
I know some guys are using Ford Ranger pickup rears under their Falcons. That may be another alternative to look at for the shoebox as well.
