    Were these cars specific on year only parts?\
    Say you had a 56 265 dual quad engine would it have to be a 56 intake manifold or would a 57 up intake be allowed?

    They were very picky back then, correct casting numbers on everything, heads, intake, carbs ect. Unless there was a factory superceded part.

    Ed always had nice looking cars. I wish I had a color picture of his '55 sedan with the Cragar wheels on it. Here's a pic of Ed's '56 on the ramp truck and his J/SA '65 Biscayne from 1970.

    If you're talking about Ed's sedan delivery, the picture was taken at Kinston, NC.
