If I wanted to mount a T5 out of an '88 moosetang to a '62 283 SBC, what bellhousing could I use? Would an '82-'92 comaro work?

ford T5s and Chevy T5s are not the same....

but you might be able to use a bellhousing out of a Mexican 1989 chevy pickup that came with the Tremac 4 speed srod

How do you pick out a Mexican '89 chevy pick up? By the silver window tint?

no, by the "hecho en mexico" sticker on it, and the Mexican plates

that was kind of a joke answer, I've only seen one of those setups in my life...and that was a while ago....

you would be better off finding a Chevy transmission.

Just to set the record straight for those that search this later... The solution is Jeep. A Jeep 151 Iron Duke bellhousing will do the trick. They show up on Ebay all of the time. They have the Chevy Small Block pattern on one side and the Ford T5 pattern on the other.
