Hi all I'm new here. I don't yet have but it's coming. It is a 49 Chev truck 3 window. Yes it's going to get chopped, channeled and slammed. It will go flat black with Red wheels/white walls. It will take some time but hey what doesn't?
Can't do the cross on the truck. It will how ever have ol school "Von Dutch" stlye stripping on it. Also will have my business name on the doors but done up where it looks as if it's been on there for 3o years.
and mexican blanket seat cover with PLENTY of stickers... ..stickers..just like the guy in OL SKOOL RAT RODZZ!!! "just touch it up with a rattle can,,thats what its all about"

oh, my god.... i have seen the light, i am going to send in my money and get a subscription right now !!! how could i have thought about building a truck without looking at the ultimate m,ag first !!! don't get me wrong i love some of the rides in that mag, but i am so tired of 13 year old girls with von dutch hats, and machanics shirts, walking around the mall... what a joke....

Thanks 43. I know how the OG thing goes. I've been on motorcycle boards for about 2 years now. If you looked at my web site you saw I mostly do bikes. I'm wanting to nreak into rods and such. Everything gets old after so time. I painted a dragster for trade on the truck. Any help with chopping the top and such please let me know.

Howdy paint! here is a link to a post from way back about chopping these trucks...i'm not brave enough to chop mine yet....one of these days... chopping a chev truck there is probably more stuff if you try different searches. good luck - kyle
