hi all! newbie here from southeastern pa outside philly. kinda stumbled on your site and WOW what a great find! I have been building, restoring and racing cars for years. I own a fully restored 96"wb lyndwood dragster that is un-molested (all original) and to me it represents racing at it's purest form. I can only expect good things by being a member of this site! thanks! Paul "the shadow" ps- my name comes from a good friend Dick Belfatti, the original "Shadow" from the fuel wars of the late 50's and early 60's. he told me to use it to keep his legend alive! LOL
hey thanks all! for those of you that asked : I'm from warminster pa in the burbs outside of northeast philly and as far a racing - never. there isn't a track around that will let my rail run, hell they usually won't even let me start it on there property?
Whoa, that's cool. Welcome. You'll like the HAMB. I am in Port Richmond, Philly and an still trying to get my garage squared away to work on all my projects.
Hi Paul! Welcome to the HAMB! Thanks for the PM and for posting a photo of your Lyndwood. That makes three LYNDWOOD owners on the HAMB, all three have Lyndwood tags I had made. That Lyndwood Reunion in 2006 should be a great event. More motivation for me to get mine up and running. Best wishes, Bob
Welcome to another Pennsylvania rodder. Certainly we must be the true center of the Hot Rod Universe? I wonder if anyone has every done a state by state look at the population of hotrodders. Hope to meet you someday.
