If you would have bought a Ford with 8cyls, that wouldn't have been an issue.;):D

    15's.

Jacko, don't worry. She's a REAL cool Bellflower babe. ALTHO, I wouldn't flake her roof.

Sometimes, LESS is more ya know?:D

  7. yeah, I know. It is a beautiful looking car. I'm just a sucker for flake.

Frank has himself an absolute winner with that longroof. Nobody should be alllowed to own 2 kick butt cars! (not while I have diddly squat & the xrate is 92c to the USD :p ).

    C'mon ratb, pics!!!

Very true but I do like my six if that counts! Everybody expects the 302 or 289 when the hood gets opened and I dig the suprised look and telling people no when they ask if I am going to put a V8 in. Maybe a bigger six out of a granada or something but no V-type motor in this one.

I ran an inline 200 for YEARS. Thing is, that 6cyl cars had cute little 4 lug axles and spindles.............where as the 8cyl cars had 5. Kept me out of a LOT of fancy wheels because of the 4 lugs.

Probaly would not be to hard or overly expensive to switch over to five lug though. I would like to do a mustang II frontend and then possibly a nine inch out back if I could find one for the right price. I know where there are a couple Lincolns with disc brake nine inches at. Dont know how wide that would be though as I dont want to have to narrow a rearend. I just realized I am threadjacking so I am done in here unless its about the 57, thanks again Brandy!

  16. Sweet color, love the interior and the console looks great:rolleyes: You should leave it. Plenty of room for an equalizer, and some really cool digital gauges:D

    Awards to you...

  18. Ok guys here's the scoop.

The ride has landed, I collected her late last week and of course, as you would expect, it has started to PISS down with rain just after I collected her.

Notwithstanding that, I had the usual work bullshit to contend with and only just now have had time to snap a few pix.

In order to get her registered, I had to give her a slight altitude adjustment (they're hard on ride height down here) and tidy up some minor things underneath her but she's almost good to go for registration.

Yes I think the tint is gonna have to go.....and I think I'm gonna add a period underdash A/C unit as the one I have looks kinda TOO new....if ya know what I mean !

She drives really well, blows the A/C ice cold and never runs hot and is as smooth as silk !! Krazy !!

So here she is, enjoy the pix....
