Just added this awesome coupe to my garage today thanks to Royalshifter. I have wanted this car since I first saw it, many years ago.... And today, it finally found its way here. Channeled 33 Plymouth coupe, plans are 33-34 Ford frame, leave it unchopped, no idea on drivetrain yet. I love the lines with the hood so that will stay for sure. I must have sat in my garage all damn day staring at this thing, its a beautiful sickness we have, and I love every minute of it!! Of course I had to mock it up already, and I'm still not tired of sitting in it making engine noises!! Ps: Evel, don't kill me!!!
Thanks! Hemi is what I'm leaning towards, We'll see. I have a ways to go till I hit that hurdle. If only you were closer! I'm pretty sure at this point that it will be a hemi..... The sound of a worked chrysler is amazing....!
hey - i have a very rusty (as in a cowl and two very rusty sides)one of those sitting behind my garage, now i know what they're supposed to look like! haha. very good looking car, have fun with it.
HAHA, Well, I was thinking about the 350/350 combo with red wheels!!! ...... It will be mopar powered, just gotta scrounge up the dough. This car deserves to be built right.
Hahaha I always wanted to buy that car off of Mark...I wish I had some cash o la it would of been mine... ow well.. looks like its in good hands!!! congrats!!
Wow, you sold the Plymouth?!?!? I knew I should have stopped by today, maybe I could have talked you out of it. I guess the '32 and the Model A will have to suffice.
Ha, yeah I know what you mean. When I heard it was going to be for sale I pretty much sold my soul to get it! It is in good hands, thanks for the compliment! I'm sure he can find something else to occupy his time! Your old pickup cab looks really nice on the chassis that used to be under the plymouth.... Skip is getting his truck back, and I got the car I wanted for years. Win win if you ask me!!
Cool man!!! 1933 and 1934 model year cars have the best lines...just my opinion...hahaha nice start!!
i have a 33 5 window and i think that is the coolist i've ever owned,i have a 34 chevy 5 window,but nothin beats the 33 ply for style.
man, i love 33 ply. i remember when i bought mine when i was 17 years old. no need for a chop they came from the factory chopped.
Exactly ratster, I love the roof height as it is. Maybe some work could be done to the "forehead" above the windshield, but even that isnt too far out of proportion to just go hacking away at it. Recently been welding welding, and more welding...... I havent had much time between 2 jobs, girlfriend, and daughter, but I am making progress.
Super cool, I have a chopped up, hacked together '33-'34 roadster pickup body Mopar never made I will someday finish(hopefully).
