Hi Everyone , New member here and looking to do my first hotrod build . I have a bunch of project cars that I havnt had time to do but I've decided maybe a simple gasser will be the easiest to start . It's a 59 rambler and it's getting a desoto hemi . I recently purchased a 291 that got me started and came across 5 more . One a 276 with dome tops already in and bore looks good , so that is where I'll start . I'll be on here a bit since I was recommended this site for hemi knowledge . Thanks , Richard

Thanks everyone , I'm self employed so time is scarce for me . I will get some pics up soon and hopefully be starting on the motor rebuild first . Moving my Amx out of the garage and getting my sons GN in for winter work so the car will need to wait a little . I have always been a 60s car guy since a kid but the latest ratrod craze has made me move in that direction . The car shows today are filled with restored cars and LS swaps and kinda loosing my interest . The cars and engines you guys are doing are just eye catching and appealing . I have a few 60s cars that I will sell in favor of picking up another ratrod ?? Project ( my wife will love it ) . I'll only keep the Amx as my son loves it ( son #2 ) and I promised it was his when I'm done with it . Thanks again for the nice welcome
