Technical New Lifters - Clean up or return?

    Send them back with a nasty note. I wouldn't mess with those. Get rid of them. There are lots of 350 engines in Europe. Isn't there a parts house in Norway or neighboring countries that can get the lifters for you? Maybe a GM dealer? Taking a closer look at your pictures, it looks to me like those are resurfaced and poorly, at that.

    The rusty lifters will be sorted with the parts company this week.
    What brand of Hydraulic lifters would you recommend? Apparently Melling, Sealed Power, Comp Cams are not trustworthy any longer.

    No AWOL, Honorable Discharge on the wall.
    Just in hiding from a non-car loving woman from Spain! :) She use to say in broken english "V8?, V9? All you care about are the cars!"

    In hind sight, maybe I should have cared less about cars...

    No offense taken at all Lippy. We have be given one life to live just trying to make the most of it one day at a time.

    I believe that they only do roller lifters now.

    If flats are desired, then they would need to be NOS or used.
