To start off with, I am 16 years old. I have grown up around cars all my life as my dad runs a used car dealership in Chariton, Iowa. When I was 2 years old, he bought a 57 Chevy 2 door hardtop that was set up as a gasser. The bug has had me ever since. While on summer vacation in Deming, NM at my grandparents house, my grandpa and I were driving around looking for a project for me. I would have settled for a Datsun 280z or a Plymouth Duster. I really didn't care. I saw this 57 Chevy 4 door post sitting in the weeds behind this old man's house. We stopped to inquire about it, and I bought it!!! I am currently in the process of restoring it and I figured hey, after going to the 2011 HAMB Drag Nationals in Joplin, MO, why not join the HAMB? So, I did. Anyways, I am honored to be part of the HAMB family. Thank you all very much in advance for any advice I may need.
