I suppose you can call me new. Here anyway. At 55 and having messed with cars and bikes most of my life I'm hardly new.

Old fart might be closer. :D

Just recently I bought a 27 Roadster body which is the front half of a touring body turned into a bucket. I'm gonna scratch build the chassis, and do a dropped axle suicide front end, small short box in the style of a roadster pickup, chopped duece grill etc.

Gonna hang out around here for a while and see what I can pick up for help.

Heres are a few shots of the bucket. So far most of the metal work is done and she has been stretched 4" behind the doors.

    Larry.

Welcome from ontario! Did you find that body on kijiji classifieds? I was looking at a few similar bodies on there, from edmonton. Needed some sheet metal for my 27 roadster. Either way good luck with the project

Thanks guys. Yes, found it on Kijiji in Saskatchewan. Drove 11 hours one way to get it and drove home through a nasty snowstorm.
