Hi all, I've been cruising these forums for a while now soaking up info and ideas, finally decided I might as well join up. I'm a Midwest transplant in Phoenix AZ, and into all things combustion powered. I just picked up a 1948 Hudson Commodore as a custom project to try and get my boys (5 and 9) into the hobby. I'm a welder by trade, and I've built drag cars, street cars, a couple rock crawlers, and a few 70's muscle cars, and have always wanted to try my hand with a "lead sled" style custom.
