Hello everybody! I want to drop everyone a line and say Hello and introduce my self. It all started in June when I found a 1929 ford frame. Well, from there I cant stop thinking about my new addiction. This message board is GOLD!! you guys know everything!! my car is a 1929 ford A pick up with 1952 ford f100 front axle, 4 link, and set up for a small block chevy with a muncie 3speed the rearend is a 4.11 posi. Im not sure what im going to do behind the cab yet. I am 26 years old and work in a machine/fab shop(That helps alot) I just want to build a cheap fast rod that I can run the snot out of. No chrome and lots of go fast parts. I would rather spend a few hours to make something than spend a few dollars to buy it! But hey thats just me.
the longer four-bar you built looks good. can't see why anyone would build em short. i'm sure there's a reason. there are so many cars being built on a standardized length of 21". someone knows the answer..... anyway, you got a good start on it. building another myself. my front four bars are 33" . keep the the pics coming during progress.
welcome... make that puppy safe before you make it fast - getting hurt in it will take the fun away real quick.
