new guy with a 1949 pontiac front end help

i just bought a 1949 pontiac silver streak convetible project i read some were you can take the driver side upright and put in on the pass side and flip it up side down do make the car sit lower has any one done it my frame has reg shocks on it it throw the spring

im putting in a 1994 lti with a 4l60 trany in it

i found a disk brake set up for it just trying to get my car to sit lower im also moveing my lower spring pads down so i can get a better ride with drifernt spring

 

swapping side to side used to happen I tried on my 49 pontiac and it throws caster ans camber way past any adjustment.

 

I had mine like that, but it wore the insides of the tires

that is why i asked i bought this project that some one started a long time ago then a freand of mine bought it last fall he decided he didnt have time for it so i got it from him i have a toons of extra parts to sale when i get my gonig back to gether im working on the drive train now will work on the body part this winter thanks for your help
