New to the board. Will probably end up lurking for knowledge more than anything, but might start a build thread if I can. Recently bought a 1959 Fairlane 500 Galaxie, 2 door coupe, 332 2 barrel, auto trans. Always been into traditional customs and early "lowriders", Watson style, etc. Probably the direction I'll go with this Galaxie. It's a running, drivable car, but definitely needs some love- rockers, some rust in the trunk, full interior, etc, etc... Just hope I didn't overpay for it, because I am finding out that the '59 seems to be the bastard child of the big Fords, parts availability wise. Thanks for having me.
