I was up in Newport RI this week and went to the Audrain Automotive Museum that featured the "New England Hot Rods" from 1945 to 1965. About a dozen or so iconic car's including my buddy Fred Steele's '32 and '29 Model A Sedan. Fred must be flipping over in his grave!

Good for you, Fred Steele's roadster is one of my favorites.

Woodiewagon46 I was 12 when Fred pulled into the Citgo station at the Depot in Littleton Ma. in his purple roadster for some gas. I used to hang there and pump gas for the old guy who owned it. I about wet my pants! I was already into hot rods but that cemented it for me! He came in again some time later driving a white T bucket as well. Fred had some cool cars.

  4. Fred was also known to be a practical joker, and very irreverent, too.

Or it could be the penis hat at the Greatwoods swap meet. He lived around the corner from me. Had a lot of laughs. Snowman
