I have a '28 Model A (pics below) I would like to make a hood for it and have been inspired by Mark Anderson's '31 Roadster with a '32 Chevy hood, below. See this great article: http://classicroad.com/?p=3173

Well, after many months of searching, I've got the Chevy hood, doors, pulls, etc (thanks to HAMB and eBay). However, to really make it fit, I think I'll need to extend the radiator out another 5 1/2" and down 3". What do you guys think about this?

Any opinions? I want to make sure I'm not making a clown-car looking thing. Note that the headlights are now pretty far behind the radiator shell.

    Thanks for your thoughts.

I think the proportions are much better. Looks good! Headlights need to go forward, as you stated.

My mother's Uncle ordered a 1929 Ford Sport Coupe new from Ford Garage, It came with optional hood, with three opening doors similar to Chevy. This was at the Ford Garage in Nebraska...

I think Rootlieb has 3 door hood sides for their Model A with 32 shell hood.

I like it too, makes the 'A' look like a whole new car!
Use the '29 headlamp bar, cut it so the ends sit atop the rails, jutting the lamps forward. Tie them together with the center tie bar.
Rootlieb's hood works is 15 miles away, I recall seeing those 'A'-length sides for Deuce shell...been awhile...
