    I was surprised at the quality of the bumper too. I think they just had it rechromed. Gonna restore it little by little.
    Yeah, I'm sure it's still good for parts... I could probably use one of those wheel cylinders.. or.... headlight bezels.... I'm pretty sure there was 1/16 of a good hood. hehe
     


  3. I was thinkin' the exact same thing...some of those parts seem to be cleaner and less rusty than the bottomside of my daily driver right now...:confused:...must be one magical river.

    The front crossmember looks good. They are hard to come by.

    Cars put into creek and river banks as erosion preventers/protectors for government programs were always without engines, transmissions, and rearends and usually without gastanks etc. Pretty much just the body and frame.
    This is a great example of one.
