I was surprised at the quality of the bumper too. I think they just had it rechromed. Gonna restore it little by little.
Yeah, I'm sure it's still good for parts... I could probably use one of those wheel cylinders.. or.... headlight bezels.... I'm pretty sure there was 1/16 of a good hood. hehe

 

I was thinkin' the exact same thing...some of those parts seem to be cleaner and less rusty than the bottomside of my daily driver right now......must be one magical river.

The front crossmember looks good. They are hard to come by.

Cars put into creek and river banks as erosion preventers/protectors for government programs were always without engines, transmissions, and rearends and usually without gastanks etc. Pretty much just the body and frame.
This is a great example of one.
