need some info for newbie mechanic

My son is starting auto mechanics for his last 3 years at the local Votech school. What are some good books or internet sites that he could get a head start on this before the start of the new school year. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks, shawn

 

Find him an old Motors Manual. The pictures will give him a leg up on what things used to look like, and it all relates to new things.

 

Get him on the H.A.M.B.!

 

Have him intern with a local mechanic. He will gain real world knowledge!
