I never get tired of looking at this car!!

I really dig 52-55 Mercs...and this one RULES 'em all!!

(even if it IS on a Malibu chassis with a small Chevy...who cares when it looks THIS good?? )

Yeah, I was pretty sure it was a Ford, but the skirts looked Merc enough to post.

 

=mike= what kind of side trim is that it looks good(pontiac???). also curtsix what kind is that on your buddies, too bad they didn't show much of the car other than the cover in HR mag. thanks for the pix guys.

I believe that's '55 or '56 Buick side trim without the spears that go back up over the rear quarter.

curt...that merc that you posted is a friends huh...i saw it on tv last night..pretty impressive..

 

It belongs to Tony Genty. His father owns Jamco, and I've been working with the two of them over the last year, doing some design work. Both super nice folks - and good folks to deal with on a business level, too.

ha! you don't know the half of it. what you can't see is the second forklift- we were playing catch.

actually the car was found minus wheels and that's a shot of its unearthing after a 20-year dirtnap.
