The Petaluma (California) Pacers NHRA national record-holding B Roadster (128 mph in 1958) is being restored and we're looking for a 4-2 intake manifold for it. The original was an Offy, and while they still list it in their catalog we haven't been able to confirm availability of one so far.

Any and all leads will be greatly appreciated. Help us preserve this old warrior and bask in our collective gratitude. [IMG]

I just saw one on e-bay, search on "rat rod" and there is one listed there.

  3. Mike, Offy still makes them. I traded that new one to Rogue for his RPU a couple years back. I can get ya one if you dont have a dealer local.

Trent -- Gene Gilmore, the Pacer and old racer who's heading up the restoration of the roadster, will check with PAW tomorrow morning, but if they don't have one in stock we'll be hanging. If they can't come through with a guaranteed delivery time I'll let you know and maybe you can pull some strings for us. Thanks for the help!

  5. Cool, Tay is really good to deal with but the hitch is they only cast a few of each style at a time. Here is the shop #, feel free to call. 605-343-9452. They know me as Trent and Tman ask either way. T

Mike, I know where one is at under a tarp at a Junkyard where I grew up. It could still be there I saw it last spring and the guy said that he still had it. I can not remember if it was "Offy". But we will be down in the area in October and I can stop by to see if he still has it if you are still interested.

Offy still makes them, but you're on your own for linkage.
My brother bought one a few months ago, brand new. Got it thru Auto Zone. That was the one I had picture of on the hamb here. His was the 2GC version. Check out his old Vette distributor with mechanical tach drive. Anyone know of a vacume kit for one of these. They don't make them anymore.

How much is $450 Canadian in terms of US dollars?

  13. it's definitely less in u.s.currency,since the american $ is worth more than our canadian dollar,i'll have to find out what the exchange rate is right now .

  14. i just figured it out and it's 328$in u.s. currency!

Thanks for the suggestions and offers, guys. The hunt is over! PAW had one in stock and it's on its way to Gilmore as we speak. [IMG]
