Here's Sam Barris' '50 Sedanette. Not exactly what you need, but it should be good for inspiration. And it's one of my all time favorite customs.

    Here's more pics.

That 50' belongs to Dana Pleece of Antioch, California. What a sweet car, eh?

I would imagine it's on either Camaro or Nova stuff-The big buicks are waaaay wide by comparison.

Blue Danube is one of my favorites as well. But dang, I can't stop thinking about that gold '50.

Does anybody know Dana Pleece of Antioch, California. If so, tell him/her to please come here and post more pictures and details about the car.

Gotta love the HAMB. Don't know if Mr. Barris wants to chime in here, but we do have the guy that chopped the Blue Danube clone. Try this_link for some info. on that chop by the HAMB's own choprods.

'53's and '51's are different animals, but I'm sure there is plenty to learn from a car like this.

it's cool to see some of my "new fresh ideas" have been done already-caddy headlights and bumper, removing the portholes from hell...you know, all the stuff that will piss off the Buick purists. :D

Blue Danube is a major source of inspiration on this one-except for the color scheme. I am also gonna do some other stuff I actually havent seen before. should turn out well, if I can fit all the jigsaw peices together.

I like the portholes. Not necessarily where they were from the factory, though.

This might be a little closer to what your looking for, I think it's a Barris car. I'm not a fan of pink, but this aint half bad. I believe this is a 50.

Is it just me, or are the side posts slanted backwards on the gold car?

It's a beauty otherwise, but those angles look odd to me.

I'm also going to chop my '50, and I want to keep (and slant) the 'B' pillars. The hardtop look is cool, but not for me.

I'd also keep the 'moustache' bar above the grille chrome (like it came from the factory) but that's a personal call, too.

The paint looks like HOK Pagan Gold, doesn't it?
