I googled images of most of the mid to late '30s suspects (not a Ford!) and could not come up with a match. I know somebody (actually several) will come up with an ID
    Thanks in advance

    Not Nash!
It's a '38 Hudson; the side window and windshield on them is very distinctive and unmistakable. As is the curved profile of the grill.
Here's one from Australia; same except right hand dash...

As Penetrator and others have said, it is a '38 Hudson, no doubt whatsoever.
It has the '38 Hudson grille, unique hood ornament, side vents on hood, windshield shape, door and door vent window shape, etc. There are more than enough clues in the first photo to positively identify it.

What a gorgeous Art Deco Style !..(I think that is the design period). Although I have often seen the Terraplane models, this one has never crossed my path...I am a new fan!
