Have several engine parts and need help on figuring out what year and cubic engines that are part of. Figured some of them out already but still need help on a few. I've checked the classic oldsmobile forum. Any info or help would be appreciated!

    1) Crank with #58274. Its in a block 585786 which I found out that the block is a 64 Ultra High Compression block.

    2) Gold block with stamping 561747 #3 CFD 340

    3) Block with casting 561059 #2 CFD 117

    4) Crank N 4813 99 2CFD

    5) Head with a #3 next to the exhaust.

Number 3 head, I think is 1953 303. There is a chart on hamb somewhere. The earliest 303 has no number there, and 1954 324 is number 7. If it is a 303, it will have round exhaust ports on either end.

I never saw a hamb thread with block casting numbers, but there are lists of 49-56 code numbers that are stamped into the head deck surface, near the exhaust manifolds. It is on a surface much like a chevy has on the front deck surface. These are hand stamped, not casted on.

#4, crank 'N': Joe Mondello told me this is a nodular iron crank, 455. Scarce and desirable.
I have to check related numbers, but will get back in an hour.
