Need help from you 30's headlight gurus

I've got a pair of 36 Terraplane headlights that I'm going to run on my Tudor, been hunting for lenses and reflectors for near on 2 years, finally found some (still looking for 1 lense if anyone has one), problem is I have no idea how to fit the glass lense, everything I've read etc says the lense pushes into the chromed trim but I can't see how that's possible. Has anyone out there had any experience with this type of light?thanks in advance..

That glass looks a lot like my old 36 Ford 5 winder... Maybe the same..

I know it's a 37 but it's still the same principal by the looks of things. Anyone have any ideas?

Perfect, thankyou, I will give him a try. I've got to wondering if there's supposed to be a little keeper ring that goes in after the lense? I've dredged the net and can't seem to find pics or any info.
