    -No

    -Yes

-Part of HD Theater's prime time lineup

-No way! As far as personality, think Dirty Jobs, Pawn Stars, Mythbusters. Light, informative, humorous. No fake drama or interviewing guys about their cars.

Ideally it will follow multiple car guys as they build their cars or have them built, the trials and tribulations of those processes, getting to the events whether driving or trailering (and the contrasts therein with a heavy emphasis on DRIVING), what goes on behind the scenes at automotive events, classic automotive-related factoids, blah blah blah. All those things leading up to a specific event and the outcome of each car guy's experience - whether he was going for an award or just hanging out with his friends. Sprinkle in some of the stupid shit that some of us (not me, of course) do to have a good time while on the road - rental car antics, drinking, illegal fireworks, questionable bars and "entertainment establishments".

Why don't you give a guy with no freinds a $100 dollar a week allowance, 3 kids, and a wife that bitches about him being in the garage too much and not buying a new door for the house.
The only thing that drives this guy is the fact that he hasn't had a Hot Rod in two years because he had to sell his car to buy three cars for the kids to drive. He doesn't really hang with his cruise-in buddies much because he's cutting and welding all season.
I think a lot of people can relate to that. Besides, who wants to watch well off people spend a bunch of money on a truckload of high dollar parts anyway? All the TV shows are like that.
Maybe you can show how a bunch of 60+ year old guys act like third graders and have all their buddies vote for them. Then show the look on the guy's face that has the nicest car when he gets his trophy for his crappy car.

Yea, I was rambling a little about my last year. I cringe when I watch these shows, and truckloads of new parts show up.

Replace the Fonzi name with Gary Meadors and you got a nice traditional 50s TV show name.
If I saw that in my TV guide I would be intrigued to check it out.

No time to read all of them but if it hasn't been said:

    "GOODTIMES AT GOODGUYS"

It's straight and to the point.

10 pages I'm not going to read through but RED cameras are awesome. Proof: Megan Fox was shot by Esquire with a RED for the cover of the magazine. Go look up that video and thank me later.

  29. Thanks for the list Kirk.

HD Theater is an amazing channel.

If I were scanning the listings, "Car Show" would leap off the screen (Nick32Vic's post #30).

"Candy and Chrome" would be my second choice but I like the Food Channel, too.

"Gazette Television - Rods & Customs" would tie-in with the outstanding photography that currently graces the cover and pages of the GG's publication.

Perhaps list the finalists in a poll, might be an interesting exercise.

  30. From what I've read here so far, Auto Addicts kinda does it for me
