Name that clip

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by lango, May 21, 2011.

  1. I need to tap into the vast knowledge base which resides here. I'm getting into redoing the steering shaft alignment in my '52 AD truck. It has been clipped by a PO and I'm making this truck mine as I can afford to fix, or change out.
I have found that there's an angle at the steering sector that the factory u-joint (farther up the column/shaft) can't eliminate. The Borgeson site taught me that ragjoints are Not for angles. (That's why there's a "catch" in the steering- it's not in the box.)
Anyway, long story short, I need to know which clip I have, so I can i.d. the steering box, etc. I'm sure it's GM, but other than that...
    Any ideas? Thanks.

Why would you post asking to ID something that you don't even have a picture of?

  5. You can I.D. this thing by looking at the top of the framerails? Or the bottom of them, or the bottom of the lower a frames? Wow.
