I need to tap into the vast knowledge base which resides here. I'm getting into redoing the steering shaft alignment in my '52 AD truck. It has been clipped by a PO and I'm making this truck mine as I can afford to fix, or change out. I have found that there's an angle at the steering sector that the factory u-joint (farther up the column/shaft) can't eliminate. The Borgeson site taught me that ragjoints are Not for angles. (That's why there's a "catch" in the steering- it's not in the box.) Anyway, long story short, I need to know which clip I have, so I can i.d. the steering box, etc. I'm sure it's GM, but other than that... Any ideas? Thanks. David
You can I.D. this thing by looking at the top of the framerails? Or the bottom of them, or the bottom of the lower a frames? Wow.
