Belated condolences here also, Jim. The Willys is looking great. Nothing short of amazing considering what you started with. You're a metal magician of the highest order! :D

Holidays suck. I’m thinking a day of making windows roll up might be better than thinking about lost family.

The real deal lexan race windows that came with the car when I got it are in and the drivers door works perfectly. All I have left is passenger side door and window adjustment, and fix the scratches I have put in the car during assembly.

Jim, you don't know me, but please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your mom.
Been watching you build the Willys..."forever". ;)
Your time and effort sure made for a good one!
It looks great. Love the color.
Roll with the punches. Takes a while, but it gets...
    ...oh, bullshit. It just sucks...period.
Only thing that seems to really help is not being alone in it...and knowing it.
    God bless.

  12. Looks nice Jim. Congrats on a great little hot rod.

Just listed the car. I found out on Wednesday that I need open heart surgery and I am going to be laid up for a few months, so my car needs to go. I am lucky to have this option, and I have pieces to build another one, so off it goes.

Wow my triple bypass was 2 years ago and it's working fine. Went in just for a checkup and the doc said OPEN CHEST NOW just from looking at a blood sample. It was done before nightfall and out of the hospital in 5 days drove myself home.

The leg they took the new sections of arteries out of was more of a pain in the ass than the open heart LOL.
