My wife says the HAMB is like.......

My wife said to me the other night bloody hell the HAMB is just facebook for customs, i took offence to it straight away... I'm not a facebook user, does anyone else get a hard time for spending too much time on the HAMB spreading the word.....

Same here but she doesn't give me a hard time about the time spent here. She has facebook and I couldn't bother wasting my time with that, interesting how that work ;~P

My wife's line: "You and your HAMB!" ...

 

She has her Arizona Aquatic Gardens, and I have my HAMB, FordBarn, ChopCult, Garage Journal and Dogfight.

 

My wife told me recently that the hamb was taking over our cuddling time...sigh

 

My wife will ask me what I'm doing I just say "HAMBing" she rolls her eyes. At the sametime she's asking me what I'm doing she's on Facebook or pinterest.

 

I have the same exact problem^^^

 

Not since she moved out!

 

Next time she asks, tell her you're looking at mail order brides! Laugh, then remind her what a sausage-fest it is here. And remind her that at the very least you are learning something here. Kinda like at home vocational mechanics training.

Leno once commented on marital fidelity, quibing; "When you come home looking like this(covered in axle grease and rust), atleast your wife knows you weren't out screwin' around."

 

my wife loves the hamb. she doesnt get on here but i call her in the room alot to look at this look at that. she likes the cars so much that she has asked me to build her one. she likes going out of town for car shows. so its a win for me.and it keeps me out of her hair.

 

Ya she said something about getting off my IPad....I dunno I'm not sure, I wasnt really listening

 

My G/F says its like the other woman I said i wish it was things would be so much easier

Now she gets it and doesn't really care. She wants to see one of mine done and on here now. New problem, but not a bad one to have.

 

I love the hamb for dooling over other peoples builds and trying to figure things out for mine. When my wife walks past and see's me on the hamb, she just says "Looking at car porn again?" Yeap.

 

My wife just walks in the room naked and says come to bed. Log off!

 

Mine has learned to accept it..It took a bit of work, but its doo-able

it never hurts to point out the purses and shoes, or the Facebook thing or........well you know
its like i told mine, its either this or some other bad habit, take yer pick.

besides I'd rather be on here, than any silly facebook thing..it seems to me a site like that removes every bit of what you would have to talk about when you see these people, you already know them too well

She cant really complain, the Hamb is a lot more quiet, then anything else I do. I just had to stop telling her about what I posted , and what I read on the Hamb. She said I was interrupting her Facebookin.

 

She calls it the hamb bone.
