Another great event in the books. Thanks to Larry and Bob and everyone who helped put it on, it really is like no other track in the nation. The sun came out saturday morning and it was a great day of racing. Sadly I didn't get any photos or video of Don doin his wheelies (the camera died) but snuck around and got a few pictures before it died. I'll start with some pitside shots.
The Big Dipper 6 cylinder Chevy ran strong all day Man, the sedan sounded great and really moved too.
How about a couple staging lanes and track shots. More pitside stuff This 40 made another great showing this year.
A real sleeper And Rob's (Nappy) Buick looked great. Thats all i got before the battery died, but it was such a fun event. Looking forward to seeing more pictures and definitely lookin forward to next year!!
Thanks for more killer pics! Its always the background that makes these car pics just a little more special than normal, because, without a doubt, this little valley track has one of the MOST beautiful scenes anywhere for it to be settled in to. Unbeatable flavor... Mike, Nico, Nappy, and co.... You guys did a nice job on the Buick paint! It was cool to see it in person... We're gonna up the ante, now. Next year, we should have some REALLY wild eye-candy, and, hopefully some nice, solid passes!
anyone know who owes that flat black 55 chevy...... he lives in my area I would love to meet up with him....
Good seeing you, Kenny! Always big respect to someone who drives that far to a show then flogs their car down the strip without fear of breaking things.
Hey Kenny, nice pics. I know the guy, cant remember his first name though, last name is Dreyer. Pretty sure it's his daily driver. His dad is Larry Dreyer and he owns the black 1940 chevy coupe pictured which by the way has been a hot rod for the past 50 years or so.
