more grinding. almost done & back home. almost.
bam! new buckets that didn't come out of a 92 cavalier!
Stupid ? . Those seats are cool but they look alot like after market universal forklift or heavy equiment seats. What exactly are they from or for.
Speedway offers a pretty decent looking bucket seat too..........
Car is looking better all the time!
She's purdy! Best of luck to ya'!
j.c.whitney jeep seats. $107.00 a piece, with tracks. that's why i bought them over the speedway ones. they look smallish, but they're not uncomfortable. less is more.
a slightly better pic. i picked up a set of 15x10 slot mags from a fellow club member yesterday. new rear tires coming soon...
like them seats lookin good. now quit calling that thing a shit box its still one of the baddest 55 on the planet.......
ha! i haven't called it a $#!tbox in over 5 consecutive posts!
...make that 6!
cool. I will shut up its still a bad ass 55
turns out a friend of the club owned this thing in the mid 90's. he was at our show last sunday & confirmed it was the same car by the "speaker" hole in the the rear package tray that looked like it was carved out with an ax. he sent me some pics. that's all for now.
jesus man... the thread that wont stop... lol......
Just found this thread. Saw your car at the Fallout last year, and at ralphs sunday. Car looks awesome. Nice work.
Man, I looked at the old Caddy. Lotsa work in that, bro.
Glad you got into this shoebox. That Caddy was way too 'now', looked real 'Obamaish'...
nice ....looking good
you are relentless - great effort and results!
thanks man. fallout was a blast. i'm really lookin forward to goin back this year.
thanks guys, i just keep on tryin to get to the next destination with this old heap, whatever that is. last weekend was ralph's diner.

hey man im with ya on that! Been driving around town with my tunnel ram and a couple miles on the highway too. Lots of fun. Mine doesnt like to idle till warmed up but thats cause of the cam. 2 600 afb's on a 283 chevy motor. Solid cam with .533 lift and 108 seperation and 254 duration at .050. roller rockers, bbc pump, and all the good stuff that goes along.
Raise it up high, and enjoy..
yeah man keep playing with the tune, you'll get it. that cam you got is really close to the one i'm running in my 305. i finally got a round to tuning it with a vacuum gauge last week, it's never run better.
Aluminum wheels look much better on the rear. Need to swap the taller cheaters onto them.
Nice trade! One of my fav cars ever...
i actually decided to mount the 15x10 cheaters on the steelies. i just didn't trust the lug holes on the mags, too sketchy even for me. i just haven't got a pic up yet.
thanks, glad you like it.
put in a lil work on the car today. nothing big, just a new headlight switch & a new plate light/mount. i hated the stupid "robot dong lookin" plate light i had on there cuz my last one got busted. i also took the time to smooth out the welds on the bumper where it meets the frame. remember, i learned to weld on this car (still learning) so it was a bit ugly. looks much better to me now. first time in a long time i actually enjoyed workin on a car.
...oh yeah, new tires are on.
lookin good still one of my favorite 55's
Still jealous.....looks better every time I see it.
What a nice, pleasant, upstanding looking car. Nice work. That should make your neighbors dog miscarry a puppy or two. Well done.
very good deal man...love the 55 chevy....post or no post, them things are klassy with a K!
im really diggin this look with the white walls...really slik!
looks real good keep it up
