My Progress on the Fordabaker 46 Ford pickup

I was thrashing on this pretty hard, until I had to buy new parts. So here I wait until they arrive.

Its basically ready to go, waiting on a fan, headers and a kickdown cable.

I put on the 39 stude hood to see how it fits, and it needs a trim at the cowl. I'm going to try to shape it to fit the cowl, then take the support structure and hinge mounts out of a junk 46 hood.That will be welded inside the stude hood to make using the 46 hinges possible.

Its on stands because I can't bend over it to work. Back is too F'd up.

Any Ideas on colour come paintin' time?

I was thinking about Army olive drab, since that was its original color.

Theres alot of body banging that needs to get done before paint though.

So, painting is a ways down the road.
