  5. How much cheaper was the 'glass body than a new Brookville? I've found new Brookvilles as cheap as $9500.

Either way, yours looks good. I like the laid back windshields & '37 axle.

    Keep us posted.

They all look the same to me. Does the guy with the most roadsters win when they die?

What you need is a good TR-3 to add some spice to your life. You're in a rut jethro bodine :p

  11. Killer as always! Lots of chrome this time.

  12. You saved 5-6K over a Brookville. I don't blame you one bit.

    Post more updates. More often.

    I like this car.

now I know where all of the V8-60 tube axles went! You must know the owner of a chrome shop! Nice car.

  14. Yeah, you guys have a clandestine chrome tank around there or something?!

According to some people around here, my roadster is all wrong; Repro chassis, glass body, four-bar suspension with coil overs, small block Ford, automatic transmission, disk brakes, and (gasp!) radial tires.

I've driven it for over 25 years, and it always makes me grin when I fire it up. If you won't be happy with a plastic body, don't get one. But, don't believe for a second that it won't be fun motoring around in that sucker, collecting bugs on the leading edge.

What is a 1937 tube axle with spindles and wishbone worth? I might know where there is one!

Get it! Never mind how much they are worth (lots) but they are rare and one of the coolest axles out there.

  29. Your cars have alot of attitude Mike, Don't matter what they are made of.

I don't think I have any more fun in my new roadster than I did the old Glass one, It just cost more.
