Thanks to the HAMB, I picked up my new ride today. It is a 1951 Dodge Wayfarer. I think it is too cool...Let me know what you think! It runs and drives great, very solid. I hope to put it in Red Oxide Primer soon , and DRIVE! I am torn on the wheels/tires. It has new Coker Bias Plys WWW's but the are super skinny, and it looks like it could tip over :) I may get a little wider WWW's, radials, and was thinking of black steelies with spider cars and rings...any ideas? Thanks again HAMB for helping me fine my car!

    Photoshopers welcome!!!

i like that car just the way it is, well it would be cool to see it in one color. nice buy, i was eyeing it up but it was totally out of the question for me.

Cool car, I was looking at that the other day in the classifieds. I think the guy was just tying to give it a nice hotrod rubber rake with the tire choice he made. Looks like a cool project.

You did well. That car looks great. I didnt realize Dodge made a car with those lines until that car came up on here. There is another one for sale in Seymor. If I wasnt knee deep in my Buick.............

I dig the wheel/tire combo as is, but that doesnt mean spiders wouldnt look great.

    Have fun with it!!

Cool ride, I would put it in red oxide, leave the wheels as they are (unless it drives bad on the bias) and spend the tire money on something else (how is the interior)....

i like the patina, polish it up with some WD-40 and drive! You can only have true patina once!

I love your Dodge, as a matter of fact I like all old Mopars. Radials would make the difference in day and night in how it drives, I know that from experience. Oh yeah radials aren't traditional.

Keep the wheels...looks dope. But clean the garage. Looks like you have some hot rodding coming your way.

Looks like 5.60's- kinda short, (skinny isn't the problem!) Maybe it needs 6.70's or like my Ranchero, 6.70's in back, 6.40's in front. Radials are for people who are too relaxed! Cool car though, have fun-
