After seeing gas4blood's post on coe's, I had to post pics of my new carhauler. I really like coe's (along with about everything else) and have had half a dozen or so over the years. I just brought this one home last weekend. With all the chasing and hauling I do, this is a keeper. It's a 53 Ford COE with a 16' steel bed and 2 foot dovetail. It has a tulsa winch. This truck was built by a friend of mine back in 1968 and was on the road constantly in and around Topeka until 1999. It has a 67 car (actually Mustang) 390, heavy truck 5 speed overdrive, & 2 speed rear. I'm going to do some minor work to get it on the road and eventually repaint it.

That should get the job done. I've thought about putting an old COE cab on a school bus chassis. Anybody could find one cheap.
