Nice car, good luck with it! My first car (At 15) was a 52' Chevy, like yours. I bought it for $15.00 from a friend at school. It needed a LR/leaf spring and had no reverse. I bought a used spring from a junkyard in the area (R.I.) for $8.00 and installed it. Since It had no reverse, I looked at "Motors" Repair manual and found out how to adjust the rear band....lucky for me it was loose and not broken. My first "Piece" was in that car! A year later I sold it for $60.00 and bought a 57' Chevy for $75.00. I'm still good friends with the person I bought that car from in 1965....we both retired and ended up in the same state.... small world!
