Hey guys, Here is the 55,000 original mile car that you guys have been helping sort out! Forgive the pics, I just got the new camera today. TDC
Wow guys... Thanks for all the atta-boys and what not (note sarcasm) I guess if I posted shots of a manure spreader it might get more response Pile Up or Bust! TDC
TDC, no offense, holmes, but the first pic is too dark & too small to make out much detail, so it's kinda difficult to comment about it. Any chance of lightening it up a little so we can appreciate it???? I do love that speedometer, however.
nice TDC! I like it from what I can see.. makes me miss my '51... dammit!! Here's a shot of her.. kill me now please.
I will post better pics tonight! Sorry about the poor quality, I havn't got the settings quite right on the camera yet By the way, I was just jacking you guys up about all the O/T posts lately. TDC
Zonkola, that came out great. I used PSP and just bumped up the lightness and then more contrast. I'm still washed out compared to yours. How did you do that?

[/ QUOTE ] I used the Photoshop "Levels" controls. They give you more control than standard brightness/contrast controls, even the Photoshop ones. You can even use the level controls on individual channels (for example, just affect the blues in the photos, not the reds, greens & blues all at the same time) if you want to get really geeky about it...
Thanks guys! Plans for it include, nose, deck, french, lowered, a sea of white tuck and roll, and few louvers. Mild to start. Wild comes way later, chop, alternative side trim, wild grille treatment, studebaker taillights, etc... It is hard to think of cutting up such a gorgeous survivor. The underside was undercoated in '51 when the car was new, it is starting to peel off, below that is original FORD GLOSS BLACK!!! Zonk~ It will be... 3 pedals, gloss black and Ford powered even when it gets to the wild stage years from now. TDC

That is a really nice find - can't be too many like that left. I had a 51 Tudor too, but I was stupid and sold it. Seeing pictures of yours makes me miss it.
