Hello, My name is Mark I'm new here and have just got the bug for a new winter project. I just found a 40 Mercury flathead a few weeks back, just had it cleaned and magnafluxed and it's crack free. It's actually the 5th engine I've looked at, the previous 4 engines were all irreparably cracked. So this my starting point and as soon as I take a few pic's I'll post 'em as I move forward.
