WOW! I'll agree with everybody else...one of the coolest stories I've ever heard. I love the second picture on the first post, and the line, "...and now my first car will be my last." Amazing tale.

 

I call bull caca...seriously...you want all of us to believe a 70+ year old guy knows how to morph photos on the computer?

jealousy rears its ugly head...

 

This is the best story I've heard in a long time. It made my day. Congratulations on getting it back.

Wow what a great story your Mom and Dad were certainly the best letting you get a Deuce coupe at 15 years old just amazing. Hopefully you get her on the road and one day pass the car on to another family member so the story continues for a very long time.
Enjoy your Deuce there's nothing else like owning one.

I can't tell you how pleased I am that you enjoyed the story ! Your kind and some time humorous comments surely made my day! The question was asked what my plans are for the car...well I do like BLACK and I like the original body detail of Ford Coupes so it will (I hope) be very similar to the pictured '32 beauty. The interior will have the original look with mohair upholstery. Red solids and the jury is out regarding www,s. In short it be clean and will be on the same theme as my '39 pictured,which is going to be repainted soon in .....you know it........ BLACK. Thanks again !!!!
