IMG-1201.jpg I have a 1940 Ford with a mustang front suspension. I think the crossmember is a Fatman Fab ( so I was told) and it uses stock A-arms with lower strut bars. I would like to lower the car a little because it sits a little high. In researching dropped spindles they recommend that the lower must be trimmed by the ball joint, is this so? and will I create interference with my fender when turning if I use a 2 inch drop spindle

Don't think this post is going to survive. But then again I could be wrong, as usual.

Don't know about trimming control arms. There are several tubular arms available that would not require trimming, but obviously more $. Some tubular lower arms use the strut rod, so would be bolt on in your case. Can't say if your tires will rub fenders. You could try removing your shocks, turn wheels, and bounce the front end.
