Hi, my names Lenn, I'm a High School Auto Shop Teacher from Ontario.

I have a 1953 Bel Air that I am working on with my students to rebuild and do something far outside the norms for this car with them.

I'd love to talk to some folks, get some insight and knowledge. I'm not super familiar with Carbureted stuff and the older cars as I started in the trade in 2011 and never had much opportunity to play with this stuff until i became a teacher.

The car currently has a 327 from a 68 camaro that was rebuild by me and my students. We had a th400 that we rebuilt, but decided to go a different route and got a t5 from a 87 Trans am.

  2. Welcome to the HAMB. Looks like that will be a fun project for the kids.

  3. Welcome to the HAMB from Illinois.

Looks like a great student project. Sounds like fun to learn the old tech along with the students.
