History Mouldings running boards...

    When was first car with moulded running boards...I think I remember a old article on valley custom doing this on a 1940 ford coupe...

    I'm not very knowledgeable on this but my assumption would be quite a bit earlier since there were some pretty amazing coachbuilt cars of the 30s.

    It will be interesting to see how this thread develops - neat topic.

  4. Valley Custom Shop or another shop did Earl Bruces 40 coupe when it was new.

    A great example of how to ruin a '40 Ford.
    However, back then it might have been considered "cutting edge".
