Great looking car Is there a build thread on the car or it an OK. secrete weapon. Sure like to see some pictures of how steering & brake peddle are mounted.
There are 2 "jimmy's" that run here in Tulsa, some, he will need to be on his toes to beat them. There was 3 "jimmy's in the past. And he will also need to beat the Jeep. That car with the ford, is the Hornet 2. The brake cyl is mounted above with a small swing arm, and the lever, above the shaft, is pushing toward the back. The steering is just like most of them: box in the middle up above the tranny, just behind the firewall, with a tube attached where the arm, is and it runs out to the left side and a lever attached to that tube, hanging down and rod running to the front. Tomorrow will be the first burnout. Those cars are faster than me, but I won 4 events last year. I have ran the 1/8 mile in 7.21 @ 94 MPH. Joe Hamby
Ya Joe, it's all about putting the power to the track and cutting a light. Don't matter if it's 150HP or 300HP, you still have hook it up. I hope they have a fine first burnout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
